$40 female and new African rat females!!

GaryCrain May 04, 2006 08:13 PM

Paid $40 for this female. Import that was REALLY skinny, wouldnt eat gerbils, rats, mice, pinks, NOTHING!!!!! I wormed her, force fed, wormed again, NOTHING!!!!!!!

The weekend I got back from the tampa show with the african rats she ate for the first time since I had her.(8mo)

She ate two that night, and has never slowed down. Now she is my "trash can" because she will even eat day old dead rats! Shes healthy, calm, perfect snake.

Thats just her story. Ive got 12 more just like it!

Yep, you can get females. They are out there and you dont have to bury any bodies for em!!! haha (for those that remember the african rat females and the mafia post)

Yup, I just came across a website yesterday that is selling 1.2 trios. Not sure for how much, but they had them.

Is she on regular rats now or still on African Rats?

Thanks
Raul

she will now eat dead, live whatever rats you want her too. Ive even put day old dead ones other snakes wouldnt eat in her cage and she loves them too.

Once they get their system going again it has been easy to switch over. Ive even brought a few good eaters out of their winter cycle early with the ARs.

The African Rat market will crash, and will be comparable to the current mouse market. I mean, $100 for a trio today, next year, $10, finally, just give them away...

when i went to search for my first females I looked EVERY WHERE!! I emailed so many people you probably got a email from me and I dont even know you! haha

Nothing but luck brought me the first females and honestly when I found out I could get a trio for $100 I told em you could get $500-$1000 for the same thing. If they rather help out the ball world than worry about the money, then you be the judge. If you are one of the 30 people that emailed me when I first got my females youd be paying ALOT MORE THAN THAT.......I could have bought my 06 LESSER with that money, but thats business.

Im sure the african rats work great but either way its price gouging,,,, dont act like they are doing anyone a favor but themselves. 100 for a trio is robbery,,,, either way you look at it they are 3 dollar rats and in time nobody will pay more than 3 dollars each. Its safe to say that if nobody else owned any females they would not be so nice to release trios for 100 dollars.

I make a pretty good salary at a job I spend 8 hours at. I live an hour away and that makes a 10 hour day. I sleep 8hours, spend an hour in the morning getting dressed, making breakfast, coffee, checking the snakes. Thats 19hrs, I have 6 left.....hour for the shower, eat, clean up whatever. That gives me 5 hours in a day to spend with my wife. If I have to spend an hour of that every 3 days tring to get a snake to eat a gerbil that would eat an african rat 10x over in that same amount of time, Id give you more than $100 ALL DAY LONG AND I like my wife and Id pay you more than that for a couple extra hours of her time every week. Im not here to sell ARs i dont have any to sell. Just whats gone on in the past year.

Whatever, its bedtime.....

Just a simple joke guys, just a joke!
I applaude you on your luck on finding that trio, and to your lesser!!

I actually saw that same ad myself, and for some reason thought that you couldn't get a breeding pair without a permit or something like that..

Best of luck, and sorry if I ruffled some feathers, guess its just my nature. But thats okay, go ahead and ruffle back!
