These are the parents of my 2 albino black rats. The mother is incredibly light. Can anyone tell me if this is a genetic trait or if it is just random coloring? I am not sure how well the pics will post so sorry if they aren't great.

The top one was eating carrots! It would be hard to say unless you have history on the parents that goes back a few generations on both sides.

Cars in the shop. Just a small $800 engine fire I was over by KC on Monday and stopped to do some herping. I found a male that I thought about getting for you. It was very red on the sides and was also yellow.... but only on it's sides. I will probably not be going anywhere out of town for some time untill I get my car back.
