What is everyones opinion on substrates suitable for a baby (3-4" sulcata? I know that outside is ideal but its only appropriate some of the time here so his indoor pen is his home most of the time. Because he was tiny when he arrived I've used just newspaper so he didn't eat bad things but since he's bigger should I move him to something else? Thanks!

When I keep my Adult Sulcatas indoors, I put them in a baby pool and use Brumuda Hay. When my hatchlings and younger Sulcatas are indoors, I use Rabbit pellets, the ones that you buy at the feed store or pet store to feed pet rabbits. I have had success with both of these substrates. Good luck and enjoy your Sulcatas.
