A five-bedroom house in Devon is on sale complete with its own sitting tenant, a tortoise which has been living there for nearly 60 years.
It is believed Eliza was moved into the property in the St James area of Exeter, shortly after World War II.
The three-storey house is now on the market for £354,950 with city estate agents Palmer Collins.
A spokesman for the firm said: "We have never known a property with a tortoise as a sitting tenant before."
The house is being sold by Andrew and Helen Proctor, who inherited Eliza when they moved in six years ago.
Although they and their children Freddie, six, and Jemima, four, have grown fond of Eliza - whose favourite spot is under a rose bush in the garden - they feel she should be left with the house.
"I do feel that this is her home as she has been here for such a long time and is safe here," said Mrs Proctor, 43.
