Sunglow

nehpets1 May 05, 2006 05:40 PM

I got this Sunglow in a trade at a dealer show in Indianapolis about six months ago. While studying up on the morphs of cornsnakes, I realized that she looked much more like a Motley Sunglow than I originally noticed.

Can anyone tell by the picture, and If so, does this make her more valuable? If I decided to breed her, what should I look for in a mate?

Her bottom is completely white, by the way, no markings.

Thanks.

Sounds like a nice-looking snake. There wasn't any link to a picture, so it is hard to tell what you have. However, a plain belly, without checkering, is characteristic of motleys, so you are very likely right.

Sorry, I'm not up on pricing.

I'd breed it to either a sunglow or an amelanistic motley with the smallest amount to white edging to the blotches that I could find. YMMV. Good luck.
