Jason,
...Not a god here but maybe I can help. Mine sometimes breed for more than a month. If they are still breeding I leave them together. If they quit for several days I seperate and then reintroduce several days later. If you have more than one male let the other male in on the action unless you are specifically trying to selectively breed. If you have any change in the weather, especially the passage of a weather front be sure to get them back together. After I think the female is gravid as evidenced by looking lumpily gravid and no more breeding I do seperate them for the rest of the season and do raise the heat but only to the mid to high 80s in the warm end of the cage. Females will often eat heavily up until a week or so after they start looking gravid. IMO the more you let them breed and the more you feed the female while she will eat the better the results. Have a look at Dave's Breeding 101 thread. We do have small differences in the little details but generally use the same methods.
Good luck,
Jeff

Jason,
I was a bit concerned about answering since I am not a BRB god.
I am new as well and have only had 3 litters of BRB's. What seems to have worked for me is waiting to remove the male until 2 weeks have passed since last observed breeding. I do not raise my temps to 90 degrees....I keep them the same with a hotside of no more than 82 and a lower side no less than 74. Some folks seem to have a warmer hot side than me but since the only litters I have been fortunate to witness that my snakes have produced were not so problematic I will stay with what has produced results and adjust according to my experience and that of others.

Good luck....it's really awesome.
