where would you go if you got out???? my new baby king got out!!! i have no idea how he got out. i keep my lids very secure. we are scouring the house looking for him. he's a baby like 12 inches long. he could be anywhere.....any body got ideas??? HELP!!!

Did you check its enclosure real good? I've had them hide in their enclosures very well. It was enough to make my stomach sink. If he is not in there, they usually go where it is dark, warm, and probably a tight space. I just read the other day about a lost one being found on a bookshelf behind the books. Look all the way around the enclosure because sometimes they don't go far. Good luck! Derek

he's dead. i don't know how he got out. i searched my room for hours. looked everywhere. i tore his cage apart thinking he was hiding too. he made it outside and looks like he got run over. i feel real bad. i thought sure i had the lid secure. i have 7 other snakes so this isn't my first one. it was my first king snake. he was so cute. had a little "wishbone" pattern on his head so named him WishBone. Thanks for trying to help.
