floppy tail

waldo May 06, 2006 03:59 PM

I have a crested geck with a slight case of floppy tail. Is there anything I could do to straighted him out? He was given to me 4 days ago and he no longer sleeps upside down. Is this something I should worry about? I'm new to cresties and I just heard of floppy tail today. Thanks for any help.

The only thing you can do to help prevent it from getting worse is add more hiding places, and obstacles in the cage for it to climb on. By doing this is may take a preference to something other than hanging head down on the glass. It is not a condition that will harm your animal.
