we had our first female Gila lay her eggs today, and we are way stoked! we have five more females to follow, stretched out as soon as the next 5 days, all the way to 2 months from now. it has really been a great season for the Gilas, and we are super excited about them : )

what is that substrate you're using? Is it red clay? how do you like it?
it is a really great substrate, these eggs were at the end of a (backfilled) 3 ft burrow : )
