I have an eight week old ball and I have a question. Last night before I went to sleep I noticed my snake had went to the bathroom. I cleaned it out of his cage and went to sleep. When I woke up I noticed something comming out of his butt. It looked like a little bubble and im not sure what it is. My friend with a ball informed me it might be a Hernia.I have no idea what it could be but I am worried about it. If anyone has any information please let me know. Thanks

It could be a prolaspes - is there still tissue hanging out or has it been drawn back in?

If it is a prolaspe - a part of it's intestines that have come out - its been know to occasionally happen after a big poop - then what you need to do is to keep it moist - put the snake on damp papertowels and you can apply a powdered sugar and water paste to the prolasped area. Sometimes they retract on their own and sometimes you'll need a vet to reinsert it and put in a stitch to hold it into place. Since it has been two days I would figure a vet visit is probably going to be in order.
