Will Still's GA female laid tonight. She had her pre-lay shed on 4/27 and laid 8 days later.

12 good eggs and 7 slugs is the total

Are slugs normal in a cluch that size, Last year my 6yr old Cal King laid 15 eggs and 6 were slugs. Is there any answers to better fertilation. IT seems the younger the snake the better numbers to fertilation, does anyone see this as a common recurrence.

I thought it was a high number and Will said she normally doesnt lay slugs. The male is a first year breeder and is a 2003 hatch and the female is a 2001 hatrch I think and has had many nice clutches.
