Quarantine area

When you bring in a new member (lizard, snake) to an in-home community, normally you would keep it separate from the already established members for a certain period of time, while you had it checked by the vet, got it shots or whatever, or if one was sick, right? What kind of set-up would be good for this sort of thing? Anyone know? or even think it might be important? And about how long should it be quarantined?

Here are some photos of, and some information on the type of quarantine setups I use for newly acquired tree monitors, as well as a description of the setup used by a fellow tree monitor keeper and friend.

While these are for highly arboreal varanids, the same basic premises can be used towards virtually any other monitor. It would just require some slight manipulations and modifications.

Cheers,
