Hello i`m new to bloods, but i have been looking on this forum for a while.

I was wondering if there are any difference in the brongersmai from Malaysia, compared to the brongersmai from Sumatra? Size, color etc.

And are the bodyshape similar for the three different species of bloods? (brongersmai, breitensteini and curtus). Are they equal heavily built and so on?

Jason,welcome to the blood forum.They are subltle differences within the regions of the brongersmai species,however an exstensive study hasn't been made yet.Some people claim they can tell the differences between..Malaysians and Sumatrans.I myself claim I can tell if the blood is from the Banka Islands.I'M REALLY ONLY GUESSING and have no real scientific proof to back up my claims.The differences are real subtle...Head shape,pattern ,color and behavior.The differences in the 3 sub species of blood python is...obviously,color,size and scale counts.I personally don't think ther is too much of a difference between overall body shape except size.Hope this helped.

I boght this guy as a Sumatran.Some people say he's Malaysian.
