Kepping Pairs together

For you breeders. Do you keep you pairs together after egg laying or do you move the male /female to a different cage?

Thanks

Tom

If you pull the nest box as soon as the female is done laying and buring the eggs, it's best to leave the pair together. If you wait too long, she will often go into guarding mode, then she will often attack the male (ornate group is the worst for this but many other's will do this as well). Once that starts the pair must be separated.
