i was up at the raleigh nc show yesterday and picked up this girl... a argentine rainbow boa.
can any one here tell me about on average how big they get?
i have heard 4ft but i have also heard 7ft..... is there an average for them?

Congrats! That is a nice looking one. Out of my 2.3, the longest is a female that is 4.5 feet and I don't see her getting much longer. I would say 4' is the high end...Definately no where near 6 or 7'. Jeff may have a different take on it, but that's what I have come to know. They are great boas and pets to me. thanx, she is very friendly.... i was trying to decide on either a red tail(to big and i was a bit uncomfortable with that) and the rainbow, after i held her and saw her...... it was hands down

Sweet looking snake. I almost wish you guys would stop posting pics of Argentines. They're starting to grow on me and I've already gone over my snake budget for this year

I had an imported female that was 5.5 feet long. All others that I have seen were less than 4.5 feet long.
