emerald swift tail broke off!

Please help me!!!! I'm 10 and my lizard's tail (emerald swift) has broke off! Will it grow back?? Please respond asap!!!

Hi, Thats a shame, but sometimes happens especially if you tried to grab your swift by the tail. They drop it as they would in nature if something was after them and had them by the tail, the tail would break off and give the swift a chance to get away.

And YES, your emeralds tail will grow back. May not be as pretty or colorful, not look quite the same , but they do grow back

I would put a dab of antibiotic ointment (neosporin) or something simular on the end where it broke off, so it heals I have emeralds also A pair, they are very active little lizards. Always leaving me lots of baby swifts
