Update on HighEndHerps post..

kilhd May 08, 2006 03:06 AM

Well.. I got anxious and had to try one more thing to see if my burm would take the rabbit. I took my rat's little wooden nesting/hiding box, and rubbed it all over the rabbit. I noticed my burm perk up and get really excited as soon as I walked into the room with his cage.. His head was waiting for me at the cage door, I dropped the rabbit in, and BAM!! He got it.. he is in the process of consuming it now. Yea!! The pics are really bad, I had my camera set on low setting, and light was horrible, and I am no photographer, but the pics speak for themselves.

Nice to see happy endings. It was, however, the other gentleman that suggested rubbing the rabbit in the rat's nesting box .

All the same, good to hear it all turned out well for you.
