I was watching Animal Planet Friday night. You took in
a couple of baby iguanas from a drug raid. Was this a new
episode or an old one?

LOL The episode that won't go away!! That show originally aired on December 2nd of 2004. I didn't see it until about 3 weeks later since I was waiting at Detroit Metro airport all evening for some rescue lizards coming in from Long Island. It has aired in reruns several times and we always get a barrage of surrender calls in the couple of weeks following the airing. Anyway, I hope you enjoyed it and that we offered good information.

I admire anyone who works with rescues. Add to that the fact that some law enforcement can really be freaked out by any reptiles, knowing that they can count on you to assist I am sure really helps! (We had to deal with our local police quite a bit because of a neighbor... didn't matter if my wife had our little beardie on her head or if the iguana was in his cage on the other side of the room, most of our local police freaked if they had to take our statements.)
