i got the bts my friend got the uros. and just for that one poster i do have a beardie. So far i love him/her i don't yet know what sex it is but i'll find out soon. He's very active and some what of a smartass. How long do Blueys usually take to adapt to their new environment. But thanks for all the great advice i want to get more in time.

congrats! what kind? age? pics?...

Dont worry about sexing them: it's impossible without probing which can be dangerous. dont attempt unless you are going to start a breeding project. Just pick a name that can go "both ways". I chose Boris...if he turns out to be female, I will switch to Natasha. lol

Have Fun!

well first and foremost, i wish to congratulate you. about the sexing, just give it time. when it matures and if it is a male, it should deposit spermatophores (like salamanders). this would be easiest to see if you let it crawl on like white paper towels. for tons of info, check out www.bluetongueskinks.net. the caresheet on that site is THE best caresheet, better than any article i have seen on blue tongues. it goes into every detail you can think of. good luck with your skink. i need to get myself a pair of blueys soon....
