Probeing and poping!

mkco79 May 08, 2006 12:18 PM

Just wanted your alls opinion on sexing a snake! I did some research on the 2 different methods. My question is do you think that its a good idea to try this yourself or should you have a vet do it the first time and learn from them?

It is best to have somebody experienced with popping or probing to show you how it's done, whether it's the vet or a breeder. There is a risk of injuring the snake if either is done improperly.
