I was wondering if there was any way to tell the difference between a male and a female pacman, besides the differences in size when they grow older. My young pacman also hasn't croaked. Is that a bad sign?

Ok.. Here is how to sex your frog...
MALES:
-usually have a dark area on their throat
-will usually croak
FEMALES:
-have a light/regular colored area on their throat
-will not croak
(I am not too sure about the size difference between M/F, but it would be hard to use that aspect of sexing anyway.)
Use the above characteristics to sex your frog. Now, it might be difficult to do this if you have a young frog. Some of these characteristics will not show up till they are 1.5 years old. Usually the best way to find out is to listen for the croaking (only males do this).
Good luck!!
Is this also the case with pyxie frogs, where a male will only croak? If so, my frog needs a girlfriend.
my pacman has croaked i think. not on its own, when i touched its back. is this a croak or just a noise made when it wants you to back off. do females make any noise at all?
