anyone know of a reliable place to get one? ive been emailing a lot of people in the classifieds, and havent been getting many responses. im looking for a cb male thats about a year or so old. im in southern california if anyone knows a place to get one locally. thanks!

I live in S.Calif also, specifically San Diego. A very good source for true Jungle Carpets out here is Rick Treeney at RENEGADE REPTILES. He's got a website on kingsnake.com. Ive seen his adult breeders and they are truly amazing. Hes got hold backs from last year now. Good guy to do business with. Drop him a line.

The term "Holdbacks" refers to snakes that were produced BY HIS BREEDERS,and instead of selling them off, he decided to hold them back, either for a season or PERMANENTLY. Usually, holdbacks are the nicest looking most choice specimens of the bunch, as the breeder is raising them up for himself/herself as future breeding stock, having sold out of all the ones that appeared normal or that didnt stand out in color or pattern. His adults breeders are screamers.
