Heating types

I was looking at under the tank heaters but it is immpossible for me to put one under my tank since I built a wooden frame concealing the bottom. On the instructions it says it could be placed on the walls of the tank however I can't help but to feel that this would be not healthy for the climbing geckos, What do you guys know from experience? I am trying to set up another tank and your help in this matter is greatly appreciated.

a lot of the heating pads come with little sticky "bumps" that you can put on the corners of the tank so it doesn't burn the stand. you can probally get similar things at a home improvement store. i know the heat pads zoomed has come with them. good luck!
