A funny thing happened on the way to this forum. hahahahaha

Years ago, I produced lots and lots of alterna. I produced all sorts. One of my best pair of super lite phase producers, I meant super lite phase, were wild caught dark phase adults.

When I saw your babies pics(pics are decieving) I muttered to myself, those may not true dark, nice blairs sir. Thanks

Thanks, yeah for parents that dark and babies that light i think only time will tell, Mike who i bought the from said the female that produced them started out as light as the male, as far a s the father goes he bought him as an adult, so he cant speak for him, i think it will be neat to see how and if they change, i will have the other two female that i have posted soon, one is very dark, thanks for looking

Don't think they'll get amuch darker. You have to remember that if the grandparents of those parent snakes were light phase, then the majority of babies would be light phase, even though the parents are dark. (You know how genetics skips a generation sort of, if you know what I mean) My wife has two black poodles, but every time they breed the pups are brown. It's because brown is the dominant gene between those parents because the grand parents are brown.
And to complicate things: Whenever you breed alterna you never know form sure what you're going to get anyway!
