need help with cage

entropy781 May 09, 2006 10:31 PM

Heres the deal... I have a rather large water monitor right now and I would like to build him a new enclosure. and I don't know what the best materials to use would be. Also I am planning on getting a tiger retic this week and would like to have something for him too i know i cant put the retic in a huge cage yet but id like to build one unit with a space on the bottom for the retic and one on the top for the monitor or the other way around. let me know what you think and keep in mind i only have a 10' long by 4' wide by about 8' tall space to work with... any help would be greatly appreciated.
The way I would like to have it is so that i can take them apart or keep them kind of stacked I know there is about a 20 degree difference in the temp of these 2 animals and i have taken this into consideration but i dont know how to make it happen and any help on the best way to heat cages would be great also thank you very much for reading

It sounds like you want two pretty large cages. Do you need to be able to move them into and out of the house and through doorways, etc.?

There have multiple discussions recently about building two cages and bolting them together to make one large 10' cage. I can go into that more if you like. In your case you'd need four cages, but it's the same idea.
