I was hiking in Southern Indiana, near Kentucky, and found these three specimens.

The first here i'm pretty certain is an eastern garter.

the second is a Midland water snake if I'm correct

but I'm unclear of the third. Is it an eastern garter as well? Its fatter, and seem to be flat on its underside with more a triangular shaped head.
