Hi:
I have had an Angel Island Chuckwalla for almost two years now, and he is only about 7 inches long. I make him a salad three times a week, including a base of dandelion greens, and also shredded carrot, shredded squash, dandelion flowers, and occasional hibiscus flowers. He is set up in a modified Vision tub that has a custom screen enclosure over it. I use three lights, one fluorescent strip with a Zoo-Med 10.0 bulb, two super UV coils, and a Powersun 160 watt light for heat. His basking rock is around 110 degrees F during the warm part of the day, and the cool side stays around 80 degrees F. I work in a veterinary office, and have taken radiographs to check his bone density, which appears normal... He has also had fecal floats in the past, which were at first loaded with pinworms, but are now normal... Anyhow, I am just curious if anyone has any ideas as to why he is not growing like this species should. I feel really bad, and I am concerned that there is something I am not providing... Any ideas??
Thanks!
