Super Salmon, Super Jungle........

rainbowsrus May 10, 2006 12:16 AM

Well, at least that's the best possible outcome. Recently acquired a Super Salmon possible Jungle female and a Salmon possible Jungle male from Pete Kahl.

Worst case - neither proves Jungle, will have some very nice babies.
100% Salmon (50% Super Salmon)

Better case - one or the other proves Jungle, will have some pretty amazing babies.
50% Salmon, Jungle (50% Super Salmon)
50% Salmon (50% Super Salmon)

Best case - both prove Jungles, WOOHOO, will have some insane babies.

25% Salmon, Super Jungles (50% Super Salmon)
50% Salmon, Jungle (50% Super Salmon)
25% Salmon (50% Super Salmon)

I'm rooting for both to prove out...duh.

The Female Super Salmon Possible Jungle:

And the Male Salmon Possible Jungle:

This guy is also possible het albino to boot!
***You have some sweet snakes and I'm rooting for us both! Tried contrasting light to get pattern and color.

Very nice, I already had the Super salmon possible jungle female and was looking for a specific mate for her, too bad she wasn't also possible het for albino but then again, she would have cost more.

I can't help thinking that if they do prove out, how insane would a male super salmon / super jungle be as a breeder? Anything it was bred to would produce salmon jungles along with any other genes supplied by the mother.

You gotta be quick, Pete sent out the blanket note to his distribution list about having added a bunch of boas to the available list. I perused the availables, saw her and made the snap judgement to buy. Called him and sent an email, turned out my email was first, WOOHOO. Personally, I think she has more of the Jungle look than the male, I really hope at least one does prove jungle. Of course if both prove, I'll be in 7th heaven!!!!!!
