I lucked out, and bought her from Joe Compel the end of last year ( she had been previously reserved by someone else who reneged).
IMO Joe has one of the nicest Hypo lines... And if you want to see something truly amazing check out his hypo pastels.
( not to mention he is a super nice person)

Here are a few pics of our silver ghost. This line was produced and proved by Aaron Burkett, they are absolutley stunning animals in person. The spider that is breeding her is also 66% het O.Ghost, so we will hopefully see if the lines are compatable this year. The smaller Orange ghost was a CH baby from Ian G, his mother was an imported Yellow Belly. He will be breeding next season.

Kim good pics...too bad the silver over-tones in this line of ghost isn't easily captured in a pic...I am personally hoping that the silver ghost line is incompatible with other lines and the silver ghost breeds true....aaron

XtremeXteriors May 10, 2006 08:10 PM

I lightened your picture to try to bring out what I thought the color would be more like naturally, if im wrong YELL AT MEEEE PLEASE

abx May 10, 2006 08:45 PM

X-X...that is really close to the colors but what you cant see is the silver irredecence that the animal(s) posses...they really are a very cool and differant phase of the ghost morph...of course Im biased...aaron

morphed May 11, 2006 02:09 PM

Not mad at all, that is actually very lose to what they look like. The 2nd picture is actually Aarons animal, the 3rd pic is another silver fem breeding wth a spider, i beleive she was in shed for that pic. They are a stunning line of ghosts.... Aaron had some amazing animals

The first pic Ghost female is from Ian G. The second pic is my breeder male Sharp line Ghost. The third pic is a Richard Fisher line female Ghost. Thanks Jon

coldbloodaddict May 10, 2006 10:22 AM

Here is an imported male Ghost I got from from Ian G. in 02'. Bred him to a proven Mark Bell het Ghost and no Ghost were produced. Did I miss the odds, or is he incompatible? I will need a little more breeding time to be sure with this one. Thanks, Jon

This is my male ghost with a Mark Bell Pastel.

This breeding was from last year and did not take.

these three pics are of my citrus ghost male purchased from Gulf Coast Reptiles. If you like color than there is no better line of ghosts. Keeping fingers crossed I'll be producing some next year and a couple crosses the year after. This line should make pastels blow any other pastel ghost look blah, well at least I hope, lol.

Pic of pastel and ghost was taken day he came home.

Hey Josh, I think new lines are cool, and the Citrus line of Hypos is fairly new I think, and I was considering getting a male and some hets, but I have yet to see a really good pic of one. 80% of the pics I see look more like normals than a Hypo. You see them in person, do they look better than in the pics or what....?

Dave

joshhutto May 10, 2006 09:55 PM

they look ton's better in person. One thing everyone needs to realize is that these snakes get better with age unlike most other lines of hypo. In the pics I provided, the pic of him with a pastel and the newest pic were taken in the same room with the same lighting, no touch-ups other than resizing for KS. There are some hypo's from other lines that do keep some of their colors as adults but none with as much as the citrus, at least in my biased opinion, lol. As all prices of morphs go down in price, customers are going to be looking for the most colorful animals they can purchase and that is where I think the citrus combo's are going to outshine other hypo's big time. I am enclosing a pic of an adult citrus female that I took at Daytona last year, this snake was not on display and the snake belongs to Gulf Coast Reptiles and all credit for such a beautiful animal goes to them. By the way this is an average citrus ghost, they have some that blows this one away.
