My red usually doesn't get in too much trouble when she's out exploring. Except for the other day when I discovered her gnawing on a shoe.

It'd make a great pic -- her gaping mouth clamping down on my innocent black leather shoe, leaving tiny teeth imprints along the toe. She dropped it when I called her, and gave me a sideways "who, me?" look. You know that look.

She already ate and there wasn't anything on the shoe like food, spills, etc. Anyone else have "chew toy" issues with their free-roaming tegus?
