My BP has been pretty good with eating as far as ball pythons go, but he's a little fussy none-the-less. I discovered that if I came in the room after 12 midnight, he's always in attack possition. So i fed him tonight at 1 am, and he's a killing machine. During the day I could put a mouse at his nose for hours and even at 9 pm, but after midnight he turns into a killing machine.

I have found some do like to be fed at different times. I have a few that like to be fed in the morning. What a pain!
