Eggbound?

jonasgn May 11, 2006 09:33 AM

Hello
Can you guys tell me if the bloods are prone to be eggbound. My guess would be no, but i`m not sure at all.
I know that indigos are notorios prone for it, but what about the bloods?

Thanks a lot
Jonas

Any snakes can get egg bound and bloods are no exception. Of course, they do not have sandpaper-like eggs like the indigos. I know of several people who had egg-bound bloods, but they survived surgery well enough. This may be due to obesity or possible an underlying health issue, even age.
