thermostats for incubators? :D

fattiesnleos May 11, 2006 03:20 PM

okay my question is how do you hook a thermostat to an incubator? i have 2 hovas and i just dont know how it would work with a thermostat plugged into it. it might sound like a dumb question but i am just concerned about the well being of my eggs. i also ask because im not sure if it would work because the hovas have some sort of a breaker/fuse thing so that it turns on and off to maintain the temp. i dont know how that would affect it. i use the herpstat thermostats but i dont have any spares to hook up to my spare incubator to check how it works. it would be awesome if someone could tell me what they do with theirs.

It takes a little work but all you realy have to do is remove that waffer, plug the incubators into the thermostat, and put the probe in and you are all set....
