Canebrake rattlesnake

What kind of reputation do canebrakes have for adjustment to captivity? Are they especially susceptible for a particular health concern? Thanks.

Crotalus horridus tend to adjust to captivity better as juviniles better than adults do, but with regards to the availability to them as captive bred I see no reason to be taking them out of the wild for "pets".

Thanks,
I prefer captive bred but there is a flood of WC on the market now. I am taking your advice and will wait.

One thing to consider is the toxicity of their venom. They can be a lot worse than adamanteus.
