I have just received this rescue. He seems to have runny eyes and nose. He seems not to be able to use back legs. Any help would be appreciated. Can these guys be treated with home remedies? Thanks in advance

Well the runny nose is a sure sighn of a respitory infection of some sort. You will need to take him to a vet for the proper antibiotics. Sometimes sulcatas get runny eyes from dusty bedding meteral. Im not sure about the home treatment though. Your best bet of getting it healthy is to see a good reptile vet. Good luck and keep us posted on how it goes. Ohh and as much natural sun light this guy can get the better!!
Unless I'm mistaken (which is a possibility) your 'sulcatas' native habitat is the Mojave Desert. That sure looks like a CDT to me. Either way the care is basically the same.

yeah, i agree, defintely not a sulcata....california desert tortoise. pretty shell, hope it feels better. (sorry i don't have much more to add)
