I use a very large plastic water or food bowl like the biggest ones you can get from Wal-Mart.Seems to work really well, incidents still happen with my biggest girl but very seldom.Hope this helps!JOHN!

I use large ceramic dog bowls. They are pretty expensive at about $10 each, but they dont tip and help with humidity.

When I had my peruvians, I used a 9" x 13" glass pyrex baking dish.
At the time that I sold them they were 4.5 feet and they both could soak in it.

i use these stainless steel dog bowls , i have found these to be impossible to tip due to the wiser base , they can push then around but i havent had them spill them yet. For humidity i use agraden sprayer and a mist them in the morning & after noon if needed. The ceramic ones i still have a few f the 10-12" ones but the larger bas will tip those when they crawl in or overthem. These run i think $4.79 ea at wallyworld they lookedat me like i was crazy when i bought 12 large ones and 20 small ones ... they aksed you have a lotta dogs huh ? said nope just one dog and 30 snakes lol

large size but in plastic... get them at the dollar store!

I also get medium and small ones too, also from the dollar store.

They have them in all sorts of colors and shapes, all non tip with the wider, sloped base...

Some people would go extreme and fill the underside with cement to give it weight, but i've found this not necessary... atleast not with boas only reaching about 8 feet or so.

at the dollar store! actually, the $.99 cent store! 99 cents each, even the huge ones!

There's 2 ways to go. You can get giant bowls like those others mentioned, but you can also make nice big humidity bins, and then it doesn't matter what size the water bowl is, as long as it is always full of clean water for drinking. I gave each snake a bin a while back, and to my surprize not one snake ever went into their bowl again! So I concluded they prefer the bin to the bowl (maybe they feel more secure?), and I stopped worrying about getting bigger and bigger bowls. It seems a whole lot easier to get big plastic containers than to keep trying to find those huge bowls.
