I'm not sure! He's probably around 5-6 months old.

he looks a little starved and dehydrated. The skin on his back is rather rinkled. give him a bath (so that he'll drink). and fatten that boy up.

or....he has a really big head!

He's fine, I think. He just woke up from his brumation and has been eating quite a lot actually. I think he is getting kindda fat. You should see him when he's puff up. He's kindda rounded, but in that picture i think he was ready to take off if given the opportunity. I hope that clears it up for ya!

I agree, he looks very thin and dehydrated. How old is he? A beardie that small should not be burmating. Is he eating fine? Has he ever been checked for parasites? A good indicator of a healthy weight are the fat pads located on the top of the head behind the eyes.

I've been misting him, and giving him a lot of food. He's just not puffing himself up, and I think he is still young. I'm not sure how old he is, but he's around 6 months I guess. Anyway, I did not brumate him, he just suddenly decided to do it.

from the pictures it is hard to tell if it's a healthy weight. THe wrinkling could simply be his skin folding because of how he is sitting in your hand. Pictures from the side and above while he is resting comfortably on a flat surface, would be a better indication. Also, side and top views of the head to show the fat pads would help as well. His tail base looks thick, so I don't think he is underweight..but again, the angle of the shots make it hard to tell.

Also, a puffed up dragon gives no indication of health, bad or otherwise. Puffing up is either flattening his body to look bigger or sucking in air to make himself look bigger. The best way to tell health in a dragon is when they are sitting in a relaxed position.

No, seriously! I give him as much food as he will eat twice a day. He just looks that way when he's scared.
