I have a small refridgerator on my back patio, and about a month ago I found a small green tree frog INSIDE it...
I took it out, placed it on a small tree about 15 feet from the patio, and figured I'd never see it again!
It's come back to the fridge 4 times now, and each time I move it further away. Last time I put it out in the front yard, and 4 days later it's back..if it can't get inside, it likes the small space in between the freezer door and fridge door..
I live in hot, muggy Louisiana, and figured no tree frog would like being cold, much less NEED to be cold...
(I'm assuming it's the same frog, since it's slightly larger each time I see it, but I guess it could be different ones)
I have no objection to letting it stay in or on the fridge, but I just can't believe that's good for it....
Is this normal???
any advice from a tree frog expert would be appreciated!!!
