Anyone with Southern Ringnecks respond..

vamp May 12, 2006 11:32 AM

I am looking to buy 4 adult Southern Ringnecks (Diadophis p. punctatus), want males and females. Would consider other subspecies of Ringnecks, only if they will eat worms or other inverts. I called Glades Herp, but they have a $100 min. order policy, didn`t have anything else I was interested in. I know I could possibly catch my own BUT, where I live I haven`t seen over 5 Ringnecks my entire life, and I have had one of them for nearly a year now. They are just not that common here. I will pay the same as Glades asks, which is $6.00 a piece for fresh WC specimens. Thanks

I've gotten stuff from Glades before... Their $100 minimum is all talk.

Whatever the case may be, they "talked" themselves out of my business.

Lol that was funny. You can find ringnecks around now but usually bit later during the year in classifieds but either way that Lucas place that ads in classifieds (usually lizards, amphibians) carries ringnecks .

They are very good I bought skinks from them .

I know exactly what you mean, I tried to buy a Regal Ringneck from Glades couple years ago and I thought the shipping cost was $100 as it indicated on it's web site and I am willing to pay that, but they told me in order to send the Regal Ringneck up to Canada which will cost me $1,000 dollars, they basically "talked" themselves out of the business.
