That is a very unique looking Dumerils. Hard to say if its axanthic or not since most Dumerils exhibit so little color(in way of yellow or red) as a rule. He does have some orange on the head so I'd have to say that he isnt axanthic(yellow) or anerythristic(red and somethimes yellow too). What I was thinking was that the boa had shed recently, which with some Dumerils at least, can cause a temporary pale and somewhat matte look to the skin. Thats the nature of the picture I took below of one of my males, right after a shed, making the matte look. Whatever you have there, I think its worth investigating... Dumerils could use some color morphs. Good luck.

Not to sound like your dumerils is not like that, but the pictures kind look altered....It would be cool to see more pics of him/her, I agree a new morph in Dumerils would be nice to have..It just kind looks like the pictures have been altered a little bit..But pretty cool lookin..

Hey guys I'm shure it's not axhantyc (that is why I placed quotation marks). This happened after what i suspect was a premature shed. Sorry for the hype. However i find intresting that this happened the same week I changed the bedding from wood shavings to newspaper. I'm not sayng this is the reason, but it is an intresting coincidence.
