Here are some pics of my frogs. Enjoy!

Having seen the pics of your white lipped tree frog, I know it's the same type as the frog I mentioned in my earlier post, "puzzled".
I am concerned because he is determined to stay in on, or IN my outdoor fridge,...
You mentioned in one of your earlier posts that frogs like it cool, but I checked and it's around 60 degrees on the outside of the fridge and much colder INSIDE!
He's one determined little frog, so I've given up moving him off the fridge, but should I leave him inside it when I find him there?
(and how on earth can he get inside???)
phroggger
Unless it is an escaped pet (which is entirely possible) it's probably not a White-Lipped. Not native to Louisiana. Native to Australia and New Guinea.
I'm pretty sure that's what he is...certainly matches the photos...I'd been assuming he'd been made homeless by the woods behind my house being cleared for a new subdivision. (Hurricane Katrina has caused a LOT of building here for all the displaced people)
But, an escaped pet does make sense...that's why he isn't comfortable in our hot weather, and prefers the cold fridge, and condensation on the outside of it.
I guess I'll just leave him there, since he so obviously prefers it.
Thank you for taking the time to reply!
Not trying to tell you that you don't know what you're talking about, especially without seeing the frog, but here are a few native species that could be a possibility: Hyla squirella, Hyla cinerea, or Hyla gratiosa. It should be pretty easy to find pictures online. Again, don't mean to say you're wrong, 'cause I definitely am not an expert. Hope everything's going ok down there.
Trust me...you are bound to be more of an expert than I am!!!
and from googling the names you gave me, the Hyla Cinerea looks the most promising...He's not mottled as the others look to be, and he definitely has a white line from his mouth going down his sides.
I'm glad I don't have to worry about him getting HUGE!!
I appreciate the info, and I think I'll call my vet tomorrow, and see if she knows anyone locally who could care for him.
Thanks again..
I think you should put back in the tank. He wouldn't find anything to eat in your house.
