Hi,
After doing some research and reading 2 books, we recently purchased a young Leopard Gecko. We have had him for about a month. Everything has been just fine. He even went through his first very clean and trouble-free shedding. His home has both a moist and dry hide. The moist hide on the warm side of the tank. His dry hide is in the middle of the tank. He does not have a hide on the cool side of the tank.
Today, I can home from work and he was sitting inside his water dish. He looks great, appearance-wise. Very alert and stuff. I was just wondering if this somehow may indicate a potential health or environmental problem.. Anyone?
The water bowl is on the cool side of the terrarium and there was very litte water in it at the time. (I usually wash and refill it at night time at feeding time)
I did notice that a streak of bright sun was peering in through a window from outside right into the bowl. I am wondering if he was simply catching some natural rays. Any feedback or input would be much appreciated.
