Hello - my cornsnake (sunglow or albino sunglow - she's been called both) has a foggy grey-ish green-ish (everything takes on a green tinge against red skin) patch on her head. It's kind of off to one side & not quite as large as one main forehead segment. I'm wondering if its a fungus or some kind of rot (her cage is clean, but occasionally she splashes around in the water bowl & gets it on the mat). It's been there for a week, & i've got a vet appt. on Monday, but I'm wondering if there's anything I can do in the interim. I wanted to put something on it (like weak hydrogen peroxodie or iodine solution) but the husband says no. Could I do any harm?
eek - I'm just so worried.
