Unsorted Lot that held a morph or . . .?

John Q May 13, 2006 09:43 AM

I'd like to know how many of you have purchased an unsorted lot of CH 06 and found a morph or possible morph in the lot? I'm talking about a lot size up to 50 or 100 but not larger. I'm curious because I've only seen a couple of pics in this forum and CH 06 hatchlings have been available for a few weeks. The last couple of years I have been given the opportunity to sort through lots of 100 and cherry pick some hatchlings. It doesn't look like that is going to happen this year. I feel like I'm missing out on some of the fun of working with balls. I've always enjoyed the opportunity to pick out ringers, granites, high golds, or that ???

The days of unsorted lots coming in containing Pastels, Ghost, Cinnies, and other proven morphs are long gone. The exporters in Africa know these morphs command higher prices and they hold onto them and sell them at higher prices. Now you can still get Granites, ringers, high yellows, and other aberrancies such as those but just not the proven morphs like in years past.
