Chondro Fest

nortz May 13, 2006 12:02 PM

Does anyone know anything about "Chondrofest"? I posted on the site, but got no answer. Is it like other groups, ie. IAD, with speakers, workshops, etc?

Is there a web page describing it. All I can find is the forum.

Chondrofest is very relaxed. It's just a place for keepers and friends to get together, hang out around a bbq and talk chondros.

If you're looking for more of a workshop show you might want to go to the Arboreal Symposium.

It's a 2 day event with lectures all day and zoo trip to wrap things up.

Here's a link to the symposium.

Hi Terry,

Julian is correct about the laid back attitude of C-Fest but from back in the days when the original C-Fest crew organized it, it has been a place for fellow chondroheads to get together and have a great time. There aren't any formal presentations or speakers at C-Fest. The C-Forum post will be updated sometime this week with details on the awesome photo/door prizes, games, and the t-shirt design for this year. It was a blast last year and I can't wait for this year's event. You'll get the chance to hang out with some well known chondro breeders, see some beautiful chondros, and meet new chondro crazy folks.

Unfortunately, I did hear it through the grapevine that the Arboreal Symposium might not happen again for a few years. I hope that's not the case because both of these events are great for the chondro community.

Hey Kim... You need to send that guy to me so I can treat him for mites... HOT HOT HOT

Hey Terry

I attended the last C-fest and it was a great... Its a relaxing time where you get to enjoy a BBQ and talk to people that live and breath Chondro's... I am sure they will have some killer prizes again this year, (last year they gave out a few HOT chondro's)

HA! I might consider sending her your way IF you'll send me that ugly old snake with the white moldy spots on him.

We can just do an "exchange" at ChondroFest this year.

Oh, and new info on games, activities, and prizes on ChondroFest 2006 is now posted!

Well that would be a good plan, however it does not look like I am going to make it this year... I have had a few strokes of bad luck with court this month and well...... things just did not go in my favor... I go back on the 6th to find out if I get custody...
very frustrating...
