ok i was thinking of getting a painted turtle to go in the new turtle pond but i think i should wait for that one,
i am thinking of getting a mud or a musk turtle, either a pair of 3 striped muds or a pair of stinkpots, Ive read that muds are more terrestrial while musks are more of the aquatics(and aggresive), i probably would house them the same but i only want one pair.im leaning more torwards the muds since they arent as aggresive.what are the pros and cons of both?
i plan on housing them in a 20 gallon long tank with cork bark as a basking area, which pair should i get? i plan on upgrading to the 50 gallon rubbermaid when they get larger and my res is in the pond.
