I had a trio, 1.2, that averaged about 30 inches long. The hatchlings are pretty small so you need day old pinks to feed them. I usually didn't scent the pinks but it definitely makes it easier if you can scent them with a skink or fence lizard.

JETZEN May 14, 2006 10:43 AM

They don't get big at all only around 2 feet give or take a few inches.

vichris May 14, 2006 10:55 AM

Ya the "NEW MEXICO" milksnake is pretty small only about 18 -26 inches and the babies are really small. I think the pic antelope posted is a "MEXICAN" milksnake and a darned good looking one at that. They get a little bigger about 24-32 inches and the babies are a little bigger too but not much.

Guess what kind this one is?

Very nice Jetzen. I only have one milk myself, but plan to pick up one or two more in the future. My 05 annulata is a very aggressive rodent feeder.

I'm a little slow on this technology thing, I still don't have a digital camera. I'll definitely try and get some photo's posted though.

Patton May 14, 2006 10:38 PM

2.4 hatched and one female has a white stripe all the way down her sides with white and black bullseyes on top. Another female has a few bullseyes. One male, the runt, has an unusual amount of black, and almost no red.
