hatchling help

ecoguard_79 May 14, 2006 05:48 PM

ok so my first clutch of hatchlings is here, one hatched 2 piping,
2 to go

i just want to be sure i am going about things right.

1. is this correct? they wont eat untill after their first shed, so dont bother offering yet
2. are the temperature and humidity levels for an adult snake sufficient for a baby snake?
3. when is it safe to handle them?
can i house more than one together in a larger tank with alot of hides?

does anyone out there have any pointers on care and maintenace of hatchlings for me?
sorry i cant add pics, my camera cant take small enough pics

I usually ofer food a few days after their first shed and keep them in small hatchling boxes for security [one per box], I keep the hot spot at 85deg and try not to handle them until they are well established. Good luck and CONGRATS. Erick
