One of my females decided for some reason that she was afraid of me today. Whenever I go to the cage she puffs out her beard, opens her mouth, and puffs herself up. She has never acted this way in the 4 or so months I have had her. Any idea why she might be doing this suddenly?

My Female beardie did the samething about four months after I had her. I don't know what caused it but, mine got better over time with handling and puting my hand in the cage and just sitting it ther for her to get used to it being there. She still get onry every now and then if I haven't handled her in a while. Sorry I can't offer any help as to why she did it.
She was better the next day. She is back to her normal self now.
