I have just bought a baby beardie and I already own an 8 month old. they are in seperate cages right now, the 8 month old is in an 40 gal tank and the baby in a 20 gal tank. they are right up against each other making an L shape. the first day I had the baby all my 8 month old did was try to get through the glass to the baby untill I put up some paper between then. I took that down the next morning and now 2 days later they dont notice each other the baby just waves his arms at his own reflection alot but thats it. I want to build a large tank and to house both of them.

What I would want to do is use a clear divder so they can see each other but not get to each other. would this be a good or bad idea. because I want to try to see if I can get them used to each other so when the 8 month old is near the younger one, once they are close to each others size, they can atleast tolerate each other together for a few hours. good I idea or bad?

here is a pic of Boomer the 8 month old and Leland the 2 month old next to each other.
